Whether for professional applications on building facades or for anchoring solutions for technical installations inside buildings, EJOT presents itself as the supplier of the right fastening solution, “Made in Germany”, for every application.
EJOT offers a wide range of innovative fasteners, such as self-tapping screws for metal and plastic, plastic and metal moldings, a complete range of fasteners for roofing and cladding, the ejotherm® program for fixing of composite exterior thermal insulation systems (ETICS) and the award-winning CROSSFIX® substructure system for rear ventilated facade constructions. Its main products are drilling and sealing screws, nylon anchors, fasteners fasteners, profiles, chemical and mechanical anchors, as well as fasteners for flat roofs and solar applications.
“We set ourselves very high standards internally at EJOT, which we audit regularly to guarantee our customers a consistent quality of service and product,” comments Dr Jens Oliver Weber, Managing Director of EJOT Baubefestigungen GmbH. “The requirements of the construction industry are diverse and our solutions to make our clients’ projects successful must take this into account. As a German manufacturer, we need to be flexible in our production to respond to market challenges – whether it’s increasing demand or winning customers through better delivery capacity – something that has been so important over the past year.
“Made in Germany” stands for high quality, whether in the fast, customer-oriented services we offer or in the innovative products that are fully developed and comply with regulations. In Germany and other countries, we are currently implementing a building trade concept in order to be able to offer our customers even faster availability of our most important products. This concept has already met with great success in some of our subsidiaries abroad.
As an international company with 38 subsidiaries and a turnover rate of around 70% outside of Germany, EJOT complies with all international standards and certifications, but also ensures that uniform standards of management of the quality and the environment and occupational safety are respected at all EJOT sites. worldwide, such as ISO 9001, IATF 16949 and DIN EN ISO 14001.
In addition to focusing on these international standards, EJOT also focuses on sustainability and its carbon footprint. The company aims for climate neutrality by 2035. “As a global company, we take responsibility for our employees, our business partners and future generations. With this goal, we reaffirm our commitment to reduce greenhouse gases in order to protect the environment and advance sustainability in our business, ”explains Dr. Weber. “Our products also help us achieve these goals, because screws are essentially removable products and therefore recyclable. “
EJOT products are also used for fixing systems for renewable energies such as photovoltaics, as well as for fixing components for thermal insulation of buildings. “In terms of the construction industry, the last two years have developed very positively for EJOT,” says Dr Weber. “The pandemic has not had a significant impact on the construction sector in Germany, so 2021 has exceeded our expectations. However, we still face challenges, especially in the supply chain, as well as raw material issues. As a manufacturer of fasteners, we have tried to maintain price stability for our customers, as much as possible, for as long as possible. When that was no longer possible, we announced price increases as soon and as transparently as possible. “
Dr Weber concludes: “We expect healthy growth for the next five years in the construction market, but that is not certain. There are currently too many influencing factors that can drastically change the situation in the market in the short term. Therefore, we must continue to be flexible and reliable – two very important elements for the future. “
