A developer is proposing a subdivision of six housing units on a large empty lot that is currently wooded.

Joseph T. Gass, whose construction company bears his name, is seeking approval to subdivide an existing lot into 6 new conforming lots for single-family homes. The property is located at 359 Cherry Quay Road, near the intersection of Circle Drive. There is another house already under construction at the end of the property being built by the same company.

The subdivision is fully compliant with the township zoning code and no exemption is required. A planning board hearing is a standard requirement before any subdivision, even if the resulting lots are compliant. The property also attends the hearing to reaffirm any previous waivers or waivers that had been granted to the property, if any.

The request will be heard at the town planning council meeting on November 10, scheduled for 7 p.m. at the municipal complex.
